The EU-funded Jewish cemeteries mapping project, in which the Foundation for Jewish Heritage is a partner, moved its focus to the Republic of Georgia in the latest of its ongoing seminar series.
Covering seven countries the initiative engages local educators, working with them to incorporate Jewish cemeteries as a resource into teaching about Jewish life and history in each country.
Held online, Dame Helen Hyde and Michael Mail were able to attend on behalf of the Foundation. Further details of the event are available here.
The Jewish cemeteries mapping project is led by ESJF in partnership with the Foundation for Jewish Heritage and Centropa.
