Foundation participates in Krakow Jewish Heritage conference

The Foundation recently took part in a conference held in Krakow to mark the 10th anniversary of the important ‘Jewish Heritage Europe’ website which is the main source of information on developments within the Jewish heritage world across Europe.


Entitled “New Realities in Jewish Heritage,” the conference was organized by the Galicia Jewish Museum in Krakow in collaboration with the Taube Center for Jewish Life & Learning Foundation in Warsaw, and it took place at the Galicia Jewish Museum during the annual Krakow Jewish Culture Festival.


Conference sessions consisted of six consecutive panels addressing Jewish heritage issues and the changing Jewish heritage world from a variety of perspectives. Foundation Chief Executive Michael Mail moderated the final session entitled "Jewish Heritage - who is it for?"
