First seminar in Worms of Moreshet – Network of Jewish heritage towns

Moreshet, the EU-funded network of Jewish heritage towns, held its first seminar on the theme of how to engage young people in Jewish cultural heritage. The event was hosted by network partner Susanne Urban and the Schum Cities Initiative in historic Worms.


There were presentations and discussions on a range of topics from professionals in the field. City and regional officials also attended and the event was addressed by the Mayor of Worms Adolf Kessel. There was also the opportunity to visit the remarkable medieval synagogue and cemetery in the city.
