Canadian Friends of the Foundation for Jewish Heritage

The Canadian Friends of the Foundation for Jewish Heritage works to protect and preserve Jewish heritage sites by restoring, developing, and maintaining the sites with a view to commemorating the sites and educating the public about them.

Our two priorities are:

  • to provide targeted support for the restoration and rehabilitation of the Merthyr Synagogue in Wales, and other efforts undertaken by the Foundation for Jewish Heritage to preserve Jewish heritage at risk globally

  • to map the state of Jewish heritage properties in Canada to determine their cultural and religious importance, and which are in need of rehabilitation/repair.

If you are a donor living in Canada and would like to donate to our mission online, please use the PayPal link below. The Canadian Friends is a registered Canadian charity, and complies with all the rules prescribed by the Canada Revenue Agency.
